The boy stood up, and the girl behind him slid to the ground. He picked her up and placed her next to the sofa.
"Speaking of which, haven't the swim trunks and sun-protective clothing you bought for me arrived yet?"
"It'll be there soon." Mochizuki Haruka glanced at her phone lying to the side. "I filled in the wrong address for you before, so I had to have my aunt bring it over."
Jun Matsueda blinked. "Do we really need to bother her with something like this?"
"And let her bring Golden Branch back to the manor as well, since she can't take it on the school trip."
Just as she finished speaking, a knock came at the entrance and the girl's phone rang at the same time. Mochizuki Haruka hung up the phone. "It seems Auntie has arrived."
"I'll go open the door." The boy walked towards the door.
Upon opening the metal door, Jun Matsue was greeted by his aunt, who was dressed in revealing clothing.
The close-fitting pure black cotton vest is a halter-neck sleeveless style, highlighting the woman's graceful swan neck. The bottom is a washed denim shorts, the light blue-gray fabric making the skin of her thighs look exceptionally white. Because she doesn't exercise much, compared to her niece's perfect slender legs, her long legs are a bit fleshy, but they are still dazzlingly white in the sunlight in the corridor.
"It's been so long since I've seen Auntie." The boy bent down and took out slippers for her.
However, Wang Yuehua gave a soft hum—the voice was exactly the same as her niece's—and blocked the boy's movements.
"I'll do it myself."
Jun Matsue turned to the side and watched her bend down to change her shoes, take two thin bags out of the paper bag in her hand, and pat them into her arms.
"Your swim trunks and sun protection clothing!"
"..." The woman walked towards the sofa. Watching her back, Jun Matsuoka felt a little strange.
Why does it feel like my aunt doesn't like him a bit today?
Could it be that there's some business trouble? The boy walked towards the women of the Wangyue family.
"Xiaoyao's swimsuit." Wang Yuehua sat down next to her niece and handed her the paper bag. "Your suitcase is packed so neatly. Have you packed everything?"
Mochizuki Haruka nodded, proudly puffing out her chest, "Matsue helped me tidy up~"
The woman with the gentle expression paused for a moment, then looked at the boy who sat down on the other side of the girl.
"Songzhi is really good at taking care of people!"
"..." Jun Matsue touched his right cheek where he had been glared at; her gaze wasn't particularly menacing.
"Is Auntie in a bad mood today?"
"No way!" Wang Yuehua turned her face away, like the kind of arrogant girl in the class who throws a tantrum over the smallest thing.
Is it a belated puberty? The boy wondered.
"I feel like Matsueda-kun is thinking something very rude..." Auntie turned her head again and squinted at him.
Mochizuki Haruka closed her suitcase and looked at the transparent bag in Matsueda Jun's hand. "Matsueda, have you seen the swim trunks and sun protection clothing?"
"I haven't had time to open it yet."
The girl pouted, "Then let's just put it on and see."
So Jun Matsue took the bag and went into the bedroom, while the women of the Mochizuki family watched his figure disappear behind the door.
A few minutes later, the boy, having changed his clothes, returned to the living room, where the aunt and niece, who had been chatting quietly, both turned to look at him.
The boy wore a zipped-up silver-gray sun-protective shirt and silver-black swim trunks. The sun-protective shirt resembled a sports jacket, giving off a neat and sporty vibe, but it didn't have many distinctive features.
The key element is the form-fitting swim trunks; the black fabric tightly hugs the thighs, outlining defined muscle lines and highlighting the unique strength and physique of men.
"Doesn't it feel too tight?" Mochizuki Haruka, sitting on the sofa, moved a little closer to him.
"It's alright." Jun Matsue did a few high leg raises. "After all, they're swim trunks, so they can't be too loose."
"Pull open your coat and take a look," the girl commanded.
The boy unzipped his jacket, revealing the muscle lines of his chest and abdomen, so Wang Yuehua also silently shifted her body and leaned against her niece.
"Take off your coat?"
Matsueda Jun glanced at his aunt, who had a very serious expression, took off her sun protection clothing, and two naked eyes quickly roamed over her body.
The boy quickly put his jacket back on. "Is this okay?"
"That figure is indeed impressive." Wang Yuehua nodded.
"...I was referring to the clothes."
"Clothes are fine too," the aunt said, pressing her ear against the girl's.
"Didn't you say...? How come I can't tell?"
Mochizuki Haruka rolled her eyes and whispered to her aunt, "Of course you can't tell now."
After whispering for a while, the woman stood up. "Where did Jinzhi go?"
A lazy meow came from the balcony, and a golden cat slowly walked into the living room.
Mochizuki knelt down and hugged the cat to her chest. Before turning to leave, she walked over to Matsueda Jun and patted the boy's shoulder sternly.
"Remember to take good care of our Xiaoyao, and take responsibility properly, do you hear me?"
Jun Matsue nodded. "Even if my aunt didn't say anything, I would still take good care of her."
The woman put on a stern face, and the furrowed brows of her face were very similar to those of her niece.
"I'm emphasizing the last sentence!"
After giving the boy's swim trunks one last fierce look, Wang Yuehua picked up the cat and walked towards the entrance.
"I'm going back!"
Hearing the arrogant slam of the door, Matsueda Jun seemed to realize the truth.
"Wangyue, did you tell your aunt about us?"
“Can’t I?” Mochizuki Haruka said matter-of-factly. “Such a big thing, I have to inform her, right?”
"...What did you say to her?" The boy sat down next to her.
The girl didn't answer, but stuck out her tongue, pulled open her eyelids with her right hand, and made a face at him.
The next morning, the Mochizuki family's black sedan took the two to Tokyo Station, the Shinkansen station next to the Imperial Palace in Chiyoda.
He opened the car door, took out the girl's suitcase, and stopped under the red brick archway with a distinctly Western feel.
A soft rustling sound came from behind, and the damp scent of water wafted through the air.
The boy turned around, and rain began to fall from the thick gray clouds above the station. Pedestrians on the road quickened their pace.
"It's still raining."
"Let's get off then." Mochizuki Haruka yawned beside her and turned to walk into the station.
"Anyway, we won't get wet."
Walking into the complex and confusing station passages, and through the bustling crowds, Jun Matsue watched as the flag bearing the words "Class 3-6" swayed weakly at the entrance of the passage.
"Jun-kun—" A girl in a sailor uniform waved to him from a distance.
Standing behind the boy, Mochizuki Haruka clicked her tongue in dissatisfaction, picked up her suitcase, and walked towards the classroom.
Standing at the front of the class line, after greeting Ms. Kominato, Jun Matsue took the class flag from the girl.
"Thank you for your hard work. I'll take over carrying the flag from now on."
Tomatsu Yuka smiled obediently, "Then I'll trouble you, Tsunku~"
The boy raised the flag and waved it vigorously, while the girl looked up at the lines of his arms.
"They said it seems to have started raining again outside?"
“It happened right after we entered the station.” Jun Matsueda nodded. “Hopefully it’s not raining all the time in Izu.”
“That’s alright, rainy days have their own scenery too.” Tomatsu Yuka said, taking a step closer to the other person.
"Walking on the beach with an umbrella, watching the rolling clouds and the sea, isn't that quite interesting?"
"And most importantly, I just want to be with Tsunkun."
For a fleeting moment, the waving flag seemed to sway, and Jun Matsue watched the soft flag fall.
He had heard similar words from another girl last night.
The roar of the train as it pulled into the station drowned out the clamor of the crowd. The final school trip departed from the silent Tokyo Station in the rain.
Chapter 597 A Glimpse on the Road
The journey from Tokyo to Izu Kogen is 150 kilometers, and it only takes one and a half hours by taking the Tokaido Shinkansen.
As the rain streaks on the car window began to dry and the gloomy clouds in the sky gradually thinned and brightened, Jun Matsue realized that he had escaped the early summer rains of the Kanto Plain and was heading towards the bay of Sagami Bay.
The boy pressed his face close to the car window, watching the gloom recede into the distance. On the other side, several brilliant beams of light broke through the white clouds and landed on the slowly moving green plain.
"A good omen."
"Let's take a picture," he said, taking out his phone and pointing it at the scenery outside the car window.
Two camera shutters clicked simultaneously, one from a mobile phone lens and the other from behind. Jun Matsueda turned around to see Natsumi Imokawa holding a camera in front of him.
"Pine branch!" The girl put down her camera in surprise. "What a coincidence!"
"...What's the coincidence?" Jun Matsueda glanced at her. "Weren't we in the same carriage?"
"Oh right." Natsumi Imokawa paused, "Um, Matsueda also came to use the restroom?"
The two are currently at the connecting area between the carriages, next to the restroom.
The boy shook his head. "I was just feeling a bit stuffy sitting in my seat for too long, so I came here to get some fresh air."
He looked at the girl's chest; the camera strap was sunk into the soft cleavage, and she seemed to be having trouble breathing.
"Does Yugawa even bring a camera to the toilet?"
Natsumi Imokawa tugged at the hair at the nape of her neck. "I was thinking that maybe I could photograph something good while I was at it..."
"I got the picture!" she said, looking at the clouds in the light on the camera screen with satisfaction. "Thank goodness someone was in the bathroom, so I could walk over and take a look."
"Not only did I see pine branches, but I also took such great photos!"
The words had barely left her lips when the sound of flushing water came from the nearby restroom. The girl inside pushed open the door and instinctively glanced at the two people chatting beside her. Noticing the camera in Imokawa Natsumi's hand and Matsueda Jun's handsome face, an embarrassed blush appeared on her face, and she quickly walked into the carriage.
Jun Matsue looked at the girl holding the camera and said, "You can go to the restroom now."
"Oh..." Natsumi Imokawa's face also turned a little red, and she squeezed her legs together. "Does Matsueda need to get some fresh air?"
The boy turned around and said, "I'll go back now."
Stepping into the brightly lit carriage, the previously faint noise became clearer—this train was mostly filled with students from Haneoka High School. Since they didn't have to take exams, everyone seemed to have returned to being second-year students, and their faces were even brighter.
After greeting Ms. Kominato and watching the game in Ken Sakamuro's hand for a while, Jun Matsueda returned to his seat after passing the girls watching TV dramas with headphones on.
The girl sitting next to him pulled her legs in and watched him walk into his seat.
"Jun-kun, the sun is out."
Tomatsu Yuka laughed as she moved her legs back to their original position and gently rubbed them against the boy's legs.
“I saw it.” Jun Matsue nodded, subtly pushing her leg back.
The train carriage had five rows of seats, which corresponded perfectly to the seats in the classroom. So everyone's seats were arranged according to the class seating arrangement. Although Ms. Kominato allowed people to change seats, there was no doubt that no one wanted to squeeze between the three great gods in the back row.
So the three-seater seating arrangement for the boys became Tomatsu Tomohana on the left and Mochizuki Haruka on the right.
Matsueda Jun glanced at Mochizuki Haruka, who was sleeping by the window, and asked, "Where are we now?"
"Hmm..." Tomatsu Yuka looked up at the display screen at the front of the carriage, "We've already passed Hiratsuka."
"Pretty fast," the boy said, turning around. "Looks like we're almost at Atami?"
"There are still about twenty minutes left."
Atami is the gateway to the Izu Peninsula, but the starting point of the school trip is not here, but in the Izu Kogen further south.
Starting from Izu Kogen, we traveled north along the coastline, watching a fireworks display in Atami on our last night, and then set off back to Tokyo the next day. That was roughly the itinerary for four days and three nights.
"We should be able to see the coastline soon!" The girl's expression brightened. "It's a pity I got distracted when we passed Hiratsuka Port earlier; everyone said they could see the sea!"
“We can see it now.” Jun Matsueda looked out the window; the buildings along the tracks were starting to decrease. “The weather has cleared up; it’s perfect for seeing the sea.”
Seemingly sensing his return, Mochizuki Haruka, who was dozing by the window, trembled her eyelashes, tilted her head to the other side, and leaned on the boy's shoulder.
