They immediately understood each other, smiled knowingly, removed their light gauze garments, and slowly stepped forward to enjoy the boundless joy of this "paradise" together.
Chapter 156 Activating the System: [Lily Pregnancy]
In Bukhara during winter, the wind howled, but the brightly lit palace was warmed by the scent of incense. Inside, the "collective military training" organized by Shahzani was reaching its climax.
The female guards of Shaher are very powerful in combat, and this "power" has many aspects: they are exceptionally strong on the battlefield where iron cavalry roams; they are also exceptionally "powerful" in the soft and fragrant bedroom.
Of course, this formidable strength is largely attributed to Shahzani's leadership and training. Shahzani herself is undoubtedly the most powerful female warrior, and also plays a complex and multifaceted role as an emperor, religious leader, poet, scholar, and womanizer.
Tonight, her interest was particularly high. In just this brief practical training session on the bed, she defeated Bahram and Farzana, leaving them battered, flushed, disheveled, and with seductive eyes.
Bahram was also a brave and invincible female general on the battlefield. Unwilling to have her command flag taken away so quickly, she launched another fierce "frontal offensive" against the Queen. The four majestic "Damavand Peaks" merged together, and the two dense "Tabaristan Forests" intertwined. The earth shook violently, like a huge "Sherab earthquake," and finally, with strong aftershocks, a "rushing torrent" was stirred up.
Falzana, employing her cunning and resourcefulness, launched a surprise attack on the Queen from behind. With lightning speed, she launched a surprise attack on the hidden "Crimson Abyss," startling the Queen into a shrill cry and causing her face to pale. Falzana then intensified her offensive, her "surprise troops" sweeping through the "dense forest," moving in and out of the "Crimson Abyss," creating waves of frenzy.
Shahzani, her eyes glazed and nearly fainting, did not succumb. She countered, successfully turning the tables and exposing the two female courtiers lying side by side before her. Then, she dispatched two "surprise troops" to launch a combined attack on the two "crimson abysses," like devout believers launching a fierce counterattack under their leader's guidance. The two were forced to retreat and beg for mercy, wave after wave of attacks.
Shahzani lowered her head and sipped the sweet nectar from between her two ruby-like lips, enjoying her well-deserved "spoils of war".
The Commander-in-Chief and the Grand Vizier lay on blankets soaked by the rolling tide, breathing heavily and softly.
After exchanging blows with the two female ministers, Shahzani's interest was further aroused, and she immediately became one of the female warriors. This kind of "eagerness for merit and rashness" is a major taboo in military strategy and should not be encouraged on the battlefield. However, this was just a "special battle", and Shahzani was also highly confident in her own strength.
The Shah Queen charged into the enemy ranks completely naked, as attacks came from all directions. Countless delicate hands roamed over her beautiful body. The Queen lay on her back on the blanket, her legs spread wide, exposing her vulnerable spot to the entire army.
Waves of attacks followed, with hordes of "soldiers" charging towards the "Crimson Abyss." The Queen "regrouped her forces" and tenaciously organized a counterattack, but ultimately could not withstand the "sea of soldiers," and was trapped in a "heavy encirclement," suffering a complete defeat.
The female guards' offensive intensified, their stroking and kissing fueling their fighting spirit. Shamelessly, they performed various positions on the Queen's body, even personally venturing into her moist and warm "trench."
Bahraim and Falzana, who had just been slightly at a disadvantage, saw Her Majesty "surrounded" and, with wicked grins, crawled over to join the "siege." Bahraim grabbed the Queen's left foot, and Falzana grabbed her right foot, and began to suck on them greedily.
Shahzani was already lost in passion and had no ability to resist. She felt her ten toes being soaked in endless warmth and being caressed by the tip of a tongue. Then, this feeling spread to the soles of her feet and down her thighs to her private parts. Warm waves of fluid gushed out, and she was "defeated and captured".
Since we have been defeated, we must accept the "punishment".
The battle-hardened queen knelt, her plump buttocks forcefully spread apart, exposing her chrysanthemum buds and rosy cheeks to the gaze of the female warriors. Exquisitely shaped, winding and secluded, they opened and closed, sticky and dripping, delicate and alluring.
The naked women crowded around, drawn by the rich aroma, admiring the sight and clicking their tongues in praise.
“Praise be to God! This is truly the rarest treasure in the world!” Praises rose and fell.
The court painter, Farukh Nakshbandi, quickly picked up her brush and recorded this beautiful thing on Samarkand paper, which was then compiled into a new erotic miniature picture book.
The court poet, Shirin Rudaki, then spontaneously recited a Persian lyric poem, adding even more charm to the already breathtaking scene:
"In the mingling night, she gently caressed."
"The fragrance of dawn wafts by,"
"Her cheeks were like a beautiful garden,"
"My tears rolled down, soaking the myrtle and lilies among them..."
A strange, shameful pleasure surged through Shahzani's mind; she was quite pleased to be so openly admired by her female subordinates. After all, in moments of pleasure, a monarch's dignity could be temporarily set aside.
Bahramu grinned wickedly, forcefully spreading her legs wider and teasing her with his fingers, causing the queen to tremble and moan incessantly. After licking the nectar from his fingertips, he thrust directly into her core, each thrust stronger than the last, accompanied by the queen's dazed pleas for mercy, as he ejaculated a powerful and glistening jet of fluid.
Indeed, during the "fierce battle," Shahzani's abdomen had already accumulated a large amount of fluid. Because she was so engrossed in the act, she tried to hold back her fluids until the "battle" was over, but unfortunately, she couldn't expel them.
When Bahram began her seduction, her patience had reached its limit. With unwavering willpower, she managed to hold back, fighting a desperate battle against the fluid in her belly. However, her sister's seduction was too direct and to her liking. No matter how strong her will was, she could not control her physiological instincts, and finally, she "whooshed" out.
This explosive scene drew gasps and exclamations of admiration. Shahzani's shameful pleasure had reached its peak, but she was more than happy to enjoy it.
The fierce "offensive" was launched again, with the Commander-in-Chief, Grand Vizier, Divan officials, court poets, court painters, companions, and Shahr guards taking turns opening the jewel locks and charging straight up.
Shahzani would sometimes bend her knees and stick them out, and sometimes lie down and spread her arms and legs, her abdomen, legs, hands, and feet covered with spots of glistening fluid...
With a violent swaying of her waist and abdomen, she activated the system:
The fruit of the sworn sisters
[Effect 1: Increases intimacy between you and your female subordinates by 20%, and increases intimacy between female officers and soldiers among themselves by 20%]
[Effect 2: Women who are mutually attracted to each other can also become pregnant and have children.]
[Effect 3: Offspring produced through female-to-female mating can only be female.]
Chapter 157 A Grander Strategic Layout
As the night passed, the entire palace was stained with flower juice and honey, and the air was filled with a strong smell. A lot of clothes and panties were scattered on the messy blankets.
After the joy and enjoyment, what naturally follows is the "wise man's time".
Shahzani and the joyful crowd awoke before morning prayers, went to the bathroom to bathe, dress, and pray. A new day dawned, and they continued to meticulously fulfill their duties and obligations, maintaining the orderly functioning of the vast empire.
When it was time for court, the Queen ascended her throne, and the civil and military officials lined up in turn. After paying their respects and offering their praises, the day's political agenda began.
With the fall of the Ghaznavid dynasty, the Samanid dynasty's territory encompassed the eastern half of the "Greater Iran" region, including Transoxiana, Khorasan, Khwarazm, Shah, Fergana, Sistan, Zabulstan, the Afghan region, and Kerman province.
At this time, the Samanid dynasty bordered the Kipchak, Oghuz, and Kimak Turkic khanates to the north; it faced the Qin people's Western Regions states across the mountains to the east; it was adjacent to Hindustan to the southeast; and to the west, it bordered the Baiyi dynasty, the Abbasid Caliphate, and the small Iranian regimes along the Caspian Sea.
Driven by the grand ambition of unifying Iran, Shahzani naturally focused his expansion efforts on the West, but he also had to take into account the political situations in the East, North, and South at the same time.
"Your Majesty the Shah! Important battle reports have arrived from the East!"
As the king and his ministers were discussing the matter, a Nassak entered with a messenger and presented a scroll of secret reports to Shahzani.
When Shahzani opened the document, it contained the great news that Shahini had led the "Arch of Resistance" coalition to annihilate the Karakhanid regime: Kashgar had been captured by the coalition, more than a hundred Karakhanid Khans and nobles had been taken prisoner, and Ilik Naser Khan had received his due punishment.
The shame of the fall of Hanoi Province in the past has been completely washed away at this moment.
"Wonderful! Praise be to Hu Da! Facts have proven that the Turanian empire can only be strong for a short time, while only our Iranian empire can stand firm in the face of enemy invasion and be reborn time and time again like the mythical bird of the West."
The Queen beamed and announced the good news to her courtiers. She then passed the battle report on to all the civil and military officials for their review, from the Commander-in-Chief and the Grand Vizier to the various high-ranking Divan officials... and so on.
"That was a brilliant victory! This is a just trial for those Turks!"
“What a good thing! The shame of the former rulers Nuh, Malik, and Montahir (may God grant them their rest!) has finally been washed away.”
Praise be to Allah! May Allah protect and prosper our Lord forever!
The civil and military officials echoed the sentiments, and the palace was filled with a jubilant atmosphere of victory.
Riding the wave of attention, Shahzani steered the conversation toward matters on the eastern border:
"However, with the fall of the Karakhanid Dynasty, the 'Arc of Resistance' has lost its common enemy and will likely soon fall into disintegration. What are your views on the impending political changes in the East?"
Commander-in-Chief Bahraim stepped forward first and pointed out:
"The Karakhanid dynasty has been destroyed. The kingdoms of Khotan and Gaochang in the Western Regions are relatively weak small states. We should take advantage of our victory, march eastward, and bring them all into our territory."
Grand Vizier Farzana then stepped forward to question the suggestion:
"The Western Regions are the land of the Qin people, and the Pamir Plateau and Tianshan Mountains lie between them. The natural barriers are high and the roads are treacherous. The administrative ties with our country are weak, making it really inconvenient to establish rule."
Finance Minister Afsin stepped forward and stated:
"The Qin people have a rich and prosperous land and have a long-standing trade relationship with our Iran. I believe that rather than fighting with them, it would be better to establish peaceful trade and let both countries share the benefits."
The Minister of Posts, Firuz, also stepped forward and said:
"I agree with the views of the Grand Vizier and the Minister of Finance, but we should also remain highly vigilant. After all, there are precedents of the Hephthalites, the Turks, and the Karakhanid Dynasty. If a powerful force emerges in the Western Regions of the Qin people, it will also pose a threat to Iran."
Subsequently, the officials of the Commander-in-Chief's Office and various departments of Diwan also submitted their views. Most advocated maintaining trade relations with China, but at the same time believed in maintaining a certain degree of vigilance against the Western Regions.
Shahzani also agreed with this proposition, and being familiar with history, she decided to establish a deeper relationship with the Song Dynasty of China.
The alliance between the Samanid dynasty and the Song dynasty had at least the following advantages:
First, the Song Dynasty was the most economically prosperous and technologically advanced empire of its time. By forming an alliance and engaging in trade with it, one could acquire a considerable amount of wealth, technology, and knowledge, thereby strengthening the Samanid dynasty.
Secondly, the Song Dynasty did not directly border the Samanid Dynasty, so there were no geopolitical disputes. Moreover, the Song Dynasty could exert influence on various local regimes in the Western Regions and the Hehuang region, thus relieving pressure on the eastern border of the Samanid Dynasty.
Third, the Song Dynasty was densely populated and produced many talented young men. There was no need to forcibly abduct men; simply by taking advantage of Iran's abundance of beautiful women and women, a large number of capable and "good-looking" young men could be attracted to add "fun" to the female warriors of the Samanid Dynasty.
Taking into account several points, Shahzani then ordered the clerks of the History Department to draft an imperial edict: to establish an Eastern Expeditionary Mission in Dunhuang, appointing Shahini as the chief envoy to Bianliang, the capital of the Song Dynasty.
With the topic in the East temporarily settled, the conversation shifted to the West.
Shahzani believed that with the unification of eastern Iran, the Bayi dynasty in western Iran and the various Iranian regimes on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea would inevitably wage war against her sooner or later. At the same time, the Baghdad Caliph was also an enemy, based on interests and beliefs. More importantly, these forces might temporarily unite to jointly resist her expansion.
Based on these considerations, Shahzani decided to deploy several standing divisions in the western border provinces of Kerman, the Kavir Desert, and the Lut Desert to heavily guard against potential threats.
Coincidentally, with the fall of the Karakhanid Dynasty, more Turkic-speaking tribes were forcibly relocated to the Transoxiana region. Combined with the Seljuk-Turkmen, Turkic slave populations, and "truce Turks" who had previously migrated there, the number of Turkic-speaking people in Transoxiana Province had become quite considerable, resulting in a pattern in many counties where "Persian-speaking people lived in cities and Turkic-speaking people roamed the countryside."
Shahzani then relocated some of the Turkic tribes to the western border to strengthen border defenses in conjunction with the regular standing army.
Of course, border defenses in the north have not been relaxed. In recent years, due to climate reasons, the Oghuz Yabghu State and the Kipchak-Kimak Union in the north have frequently raided southwards. A few months ago, the Oghuz people raided Khwarazm province, but were eventually defeated by the local garrison.
Shahzani established her current diplomatic policy: East – exchange; West – strategy; North – defense. Her primary task at this stage is to recuperate and rebuild her strength, and once she has accumulated sufficient power, she will prepare to launch a westward expedition.
Second leave request
Due to a mix of family matters, work-related issues, and various other miscellaneous tasks, I will be taking another day off. My update frequency may be somewhat inconsistent during this period.
Chapter 158 Biroone's New Invention
As the saying goes, "An emperor will not starve his soldiers."
If we want to launch a westward expedition to unify Iran and even reach the Euphrates River, sufficient food and supplies are essential.
The westward expedition involved not only traversing the vast Kavir Desert and crossing the expansive Zagros Mountains, but also confronting the massive "jihadist army" assembled by the Caliph through religious influence. Furthermore, the unification of Iran resulted in a significant increase in territory, requiring substantial financial support to maintain a large garrison and bureaucracy.
As the wise man said: Productivity is a prerequisite for combat effectiveness.
The Samanid dynasty's wealth primarily stemmed from agriculture, handicrafts, and trade. The fertile irrigated lands of Transoxiana and Khorasan provinces contributed significantly to the empire's treasury. Furthermore, the increased agricultural and pastoral output led to substantial growth in handicrafts and commerce.
Cities such as Bukhara, Samarkand, Nakhshab, Merv, Salah al-Hashi, Nishapur, and Tus all developed into more specialized mining and handicraft workshops. The weapons and armor forging in Bukhara and Tus were particularly exquisite. Iranian craftsmen inherited profound and sophisticated techniques while absorbing advanced experience from China, creating top-notch armor that not only equipped the Samanid army in large quantities but also generated a surplus for export.
Through extensive production practices, Iranian handicrafts have made significant progress in forging techniques, enabling the production of exceptionally high-quality steel raw materials, which Shahzani named "Iranian steel." Of course, the technology for forging this material is highly confidential and strictly prohibited from being disclosed to other regimes, with violators facing execution.
Many new inventions and creations are inseparable from the efforts of scholars such as Birouni, Ibn Sina, Farzana, and Mo Yuxuan.
……
In early March of 1004 AD, in the Persian calendar month of Isvand.
Biruni then presented Shahzani with his work, claiming that he had made another new invention.
Book title: The Book of Irrigation and Water Conservancy.
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Merciful, we thank Allah Hudda for commanding the angels and spirits to create the world, and for maintaining its order with the sword and pen of Her Majesty the Supreme and Powerful Queen. Praise be to the Lord of this age, Hudadad Shahzani Samarkandi. She is the Lord who helps all people, the learned and just Queen of the world, the victorious Queen who has received divine inspiration, the religious sword that defends the faith, the nemesis of rebels and evildoers, the adversary of hypocrites and treacherous individuals…"
"...She is the commander of the army, the leader of the royal family, the pillar of the era, the protector of the people, the chief of the believers, the honor of the nation, the glory of the country, the sole ruler of Iranians and non-Iranians, the great Shahsha..."
Blah blah blah, Biruni began by showering the book with praise. This was because, according to custom in the Iranian-Eastern Islamic world, the author of a book was expected to praise the ruler he served in the preface. Biruni, being a scholar of science and engineering, was not adept at crafting ornate language, and thus had to entrust his scribes with the task of adding rhetoric to the book's opening.
With that introduction, we now move on to the simple language of science and engineering. Biruni claimed he had improved several types of hydraulic engineering machinery, thereby greatly increasing the efficiency of irrigation systems. To have the great Queen witness this firsthand, he selected the Mulu Oasis in Khorasan as a pilot area and specially invited the Queen to visit.
“This is excellent! Send the order to Mulu!” Shahzani announced to the palace maids.
The Queen's procession departed from Bukhara in a grand procession, traveling for several days along the wide post roads before arriving at Merv in Khorasan Province.
Murru was originally a fertile oasis, with the Morgab River flowing through it, and the area had an exceptionally large and complex irrigation system.
Samanid central government records show that Murrut had a dedicated water management office (Divan-e-ab), with more water officials (Milab) than any other city. In addition, the office housed a large number of bandbans (dam keepers), juybans (ditch keepers), water surveyors (Ab-andaz), and up to 400 divers, among others. In total, the department employed over 12000 people.
Under the meticulous care of a large professional team, the magnificent and beautiful irrigation system operates day and night, showcasing the aesthetics of mechanical engineering to every passing merchant traveler and pilgrim.
"Your Majesty, your presence has brought even greater prosperity to the wealthy city of Mullah." Biruni and the others offered their praise, and after receiving a smile of approval from Shahzani, they began the demonstration.
First, the outer gates were opened with a roar, and the water of the Moergab River rushed in. The water surveyors along the banks used special equipment to measure the depth, and immediately sent a signal downstream once the water level reached the predetermined level.
As if the command of the King of Kings were inviolable, the diversion devices in several river channels immediately activated, controlling the surging water flow within a certain range. At the same time, the diverted water flowed away through another spillway and into a designated reservoir for storage.
The wisdom of scholars shines brightly here. Other water flows, weakening, continue downstream. At this point, waterwheels and other machinery begin to function, further regulating the water flow and ultimately distributing it rationally into irrigation wells, canals, and water supply pipelines, delivering it to cities, orchards, and farmland.
This system can effectively reduce the ineffective waste of water resources and lower the risk of soil salinization, which is of great benefit to arid and rain-scarce Iran.
Birouni made extensive improvements to the mechanical structure, system layout, and construction materials. At the same time, Birouni also drew on the experience of predecessors such as Banu Musa and Al-Khwarizmi, deploying numerous tubular devices downstream to regulate the balance of water resources in different river channels through the "siphon effect," thereby making the irrigation system more efficient.
In the distance, the flat, fertile fields of Mulu Oasis are divided into regular shapes by crisscrossing paths, stretching as far as the eye can see. Spring has quietly arrived, awaiting only the warmth of spring and the blooming of flowers, while a more efficient irrigation system will bring a continuous stream of sweetness to this paradise.
Shahzani cast an approving glance at Biruni and the others.
"As the proverb says, knowledge is a nation's treasure, and wise men are the pillars of a country. Birouni, you and many other exceptionally wise scholars have shown me the power of creation, which is truly a blessing for the nation!"
She instructed her courtiers to reward the scholars handsomely. She was never stingy when it came to rewarding meritorious officials.
At the same time, she opened the [Chronicles of the Persian King] system.
