Chapter 124 Suspicion

Tang Jinxia left home early Friday morning to meet Ji Cheng, but unexpectedly encountered police questioning. After Wei Hongbo and Zhang Shengyong left, she realized that this was Ji Cheng's deliberate arrangement.

However, Ji Cheng kept his word and introduced her to his friends. The two new acquaintances were indeed worth getting to know, but because of this, her enthusiasm for singing was not so high.

The officers who accompanied him were all impressed by Wei Hongbo's eloquence. Wei didn't tell a single lie, yet he skillfully avoided revealing details that shouldn't be disclosed during the investigation.

Wei Hongbo was also forced into this situation. He had met with Tang Jinxia once and knew that if he didn't exaggerate the severity of the situation, it would be difficult to get her to fully cooperate. Shen Qing's involvement was indeed very serious, but there were certain details he couldn't reveal.
