Chapter 134 One out, one in, nothing happened!
Chapter 134 One out, one in, nothing happened!
Snape was overwhelmed by immense pain and finally couldn't bear it any longer, letting out a scream. However, he quickly suppressed his scream thanks to his strong willpower.
"Endure? I'll teach you to endure! I'll teach you to stare into Harry's eyes. Do you want to bring Aunt Lily back to life?"
Dudley grew even angrier and raised his hand to unleash another Cruciatus Curse.
This time, Snape forced himself to endure it again. The blood on his body mixed with the sweat that poured out from the pain, and as he struggled and rolled around, he became even more disheveled.
"Still tolerating it? Then these two shots are to avenge my mother for the bullying you caused her during her childhood! You bastard, you even bully the Muggle sister of the person you fancy, what else wouldn't you do?"
Dudley unleashed two Cruciatus Curses in quick succession, his hatred palpable, and the rampant magic caused Snape's body to float in mid-air.
"what--"
Snape's body reached its limit, and he finally couldn't bear it any longer, letting out a scream of pain even louder than before.
Dali felt better.
He stopped and ceased casting spells to torment Snape.
He feared that a few more Crucifixion Curses would drive Snape mad.
Snape can't go crazy, that would be too easy on him!
With this in mind, Dudley called Harry over, turned around and left, opening the door to the Potions classroom and walking out.
"Quick, Hermione, Neville, Seamus, let's go!"
After Dudley and Harry left, Ron was the first to act. Fearing Snape's wrath, he helped Hermione up, called his roommates, and they also left.
Hermione and Neville were feeling guilty and didn't say anything. Upon hearing this, Seamus quickly grabbed Neville and followed Ron out of the Potions classroom.
After Ron and his group left, the others slowly began to stir.
The remaining Gryffindor freshmen were unsure whether to stay or leave, while Malfoy became the backbone of the Slytherin freshmen, issuing orders and making arrangements.
"Crawb, Goyle, come with me to see the Dean. Pansy, you gather a few girls and split up to find Dumbledore and Madam Pomfrey, the school nurse!"
"Wait!"
The Slytherin freshmen were about to act according to Malfoy's plan when, unexpectedly, Snape, who had been lying on the ground groaning beside the podium, recovered and, despite his severe injuries, forced himself to stand up.
Furthermore, despite being blinded by the Eye Curse, he used his memory of the location to remotely cast a spell and close the door to the Potions classroom.
The remaining Gryffindor freshmen were terrified and filled with regret, wishing they had run away with Ron and the others.
Judging from their current situation, they're really afraid they'll suffer the consequences.
The Slytherin freshmen were quite surprised and confused. Why would their headmaster, who was injured like this, stop them from going out to call for help?
"Professor Snape, are you alright?"
Malfoy, along with Crabbe and Goyle, ran to Snape's side, trying to help him up, but Snape pushed them away.
Snape braced himself, took out his wand, and cast five or six powerful healing spells on his body to stop the bleeding and begin to heal his internal and external wounds.
Another cleansing spell was cast, removing the bloodstains from his body and making him look less disheveled.
Then, he pointed his wand at his eyes and kept muttering the reverse spell of the Eye Disease Curse. After a while, his blurry vision returned, and he was able to see the outside world roughly.
"Professor, are you alright?"
Malfoy waved his hand in front of Snape's eyes, and was immediately startled when Snape gave him a look with utterly empty eyes.
Snape did not answer Malfoy's question. Instead, he glanced at the remaining students in the classroom and, amidst their terrified and bewildered gazes, pointed the tip of his wand at them.
"Forget everything and it's all empty!"
A dazzling white light swept across the entire Potions class in an instant, enveloping all the new students from Slytherin and the remaining new students from Gryphon.
When the white light faded, everyone forgot the horrific scene of Snape being tortured, and only remembered that they had just come to Potions class.
"Find your seats and get ready, I'm going to start taking attendance!"
Despite the lingering injuries and intense pain, Snape pretended to be unharmed and slowly walked back to the podium.
It was as if he had just arrived for Potions class and nothing had happened before.
Malfoy rubbed his head in confusion, wondering why he was standing so close to the podium.
But seeing that their stern-faced headmaster was about to start the lecture, they could only lead Crabbe and Goyle to the area where the new Slytherin students were gathered, and sit back in their seats where they had already placed their cauldrons and potion ingredients.
The same applies to the other freshmen whose memories were erased.
Feeling somewhat bewildered, they returned to their original seats.
On the platform, Snape held the roster and read it quickly again, pretending to read it aloud, before finally saying:
“Neville Longbottom, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger… There are five students from Gryffindor who have skipped class, and each will have a deduction…”
"Wait! We're not late!"
Before Snape could even utter the words of deduction, the door to the Potions classroom opened automatically.
Dudley, along with his cousin and a group of friends with varying feelings, reappeared before Snape.
Snape's expression turned ugly, especially when he saw that Harry's eyes had 'turned' golden brown. He was as if he had been electrocuted, recalling some distant memories that were very unpleasant to him.
“Professor Snape, my Gryffindor friends have already put the potion-making tools and potion-making ingredients at their seats. They just went to the restroom. I don’t think they should get points deducted from their scores, right?”
As Dali spoke indifferently, he and his friends sat back down in their original seats, as if nothing had happened.
However, the resentment and hostility towards Snape on the faces of Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville, and Seamus did not seem like anything had happened.
Just now, after Ron and the others came out, they were stopped by Dudley, who came out first, and he cast a Disillusionment Charm to conceal their identities.
Together with Dudley and Harry, they returned to the door of the Potions classroom.
They all heard Snape shout "Forget everything," so naturally they couldn't like him anymore.
This time, Snape, standing on the podium, didn't argue back or go against Dudley. Instead, he acquiesced to Dudley's statement, enduring the excruciating pain, and got straight to the point.
They began teaching freshmen in both colleges how to prepare a simple scabies solution.
During this time, he sat high on the podium, continuing to cast spells to silently heal his eye disease, while using his sense of smell and hearing in conjunction with his impaired vision to observe the potion preparation of each student below.
If any student made even the slightest mistake, Snape would fly into a rage, shout at them, and spray them with venom from a distance.
However, Snape is currently in very poor condition, and the power of his venom has been greatly reduced.
Moreover, he did not physically punish the students who made mistakes by slapping them on the back of the head.
Normally, this would be an essential part of his classroom teaching methods.
As for Dudley and Harry, they were intentionally or unintentionally ignored by Snape. Although their scabies medicine was quite good, they did not receive any extra points from Snape.
Dudley had no choice but to add points for Harry himself.
