Harry Potter: This senior is pretty strong

Chapter 141 The Duel in the Corner

Chapter 141 The Duel in the Corner

Qin Yu has been very busy lately, almost to the point of neglecting to eat or sleep, and has even lost track of time.

If Hermione hadn't casually mentioned Halloween, he wouldn't have known it was already the end of October.

That said, without his appearance, according to the original historical trajectory, this year's Halloween Eve would not have been peaceful. Hermione would have been ostracized by her classmates (mainly Harry and Ron) and hiding in the bathroom crying, thus encountering danger.

However, with Qin Yu involved, things should change.

At least, Hermione shouldn't be hiding in the bathroom alone anymore.

Even so, Qin Yu still said to the girl with concern, "If anyone bullies you during this time, or if you encounter anything unhappy, remember to come find me."

"Ok?"

Hermione looked at Qin Yu with blank eyes after hearing his words, and asked in a puzzled tone, "Why are you suddenly telling me this? Why am I being bullied?"

"Um... I was just saying if. After all, at your age, it's easy to encounter things you can't handle on your own. In those cases, you can ask me for help." Qin Yu was taken aback by the question and knew that his words were a bit abrupt, but he couldn't go into too much detail, so he could only offer a forced explanation.

"What do you mean by 'my age'? Why don't you try to remember how old you are?" the girl pouted, clearly dissatisfied.

Women are such strange people; they care so much about their age. When they are young, they feel uncomfortable when others say they are young, but when they get older, they hate having their age mentioned.

Hermione, on the other hand, didn't like being treated like a little kid by Qin all the time!

After all, she's grown up now; she could attend high school in the Muggle world, and in a few more years, she could... cough, anyway, she's grown up.

Seeing the sullen girl, Qin Yu raised his hands in surrender and said with a smile, "Okay, if I have anything unpleasant to do, or if I'm bullied, I'll come to you for help."

"Okay, sure! I'll take care of those who bullied you!" Hermione nodded seriously, but she clearly thought it was a joke, and she started laughing as she spoke.

After dinner, having made some progress in alchemy, Qin Yu decided to put aside today's studies and take a good rest. So he took Harry to the Quidditch pitch for training.

Hermione returned to the girls' dormitory in Gryffindor to feed Crookshanks, whom she had brought back from Hagrid.

The others went about their own business and left the dining hall.

……

……

It was getting dark.

There was hardly anyone walking around on the fourth floor of Hogwarts Castle. In a dark corner of a corridor not far from the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, two voices, deliberately kept to a minimum, suddenly rang out.

"You should take action now, you can't wait any longer!" a hoarse voice said sharply.

“Master, Master…the defenses there are too tight, I, I have a hard time getting in…” another hesitant voice said humbly and fearfully.

"This is something you need to figure out. Are you expecting me to do it?" the hoarse voice said in an extremely impatient tone.

"No, no, I, I'll definitely find a way... Please believe me!" the timid voice said hastily.

"Okay, hurry up! I feel a little weak and can't stay awake for long... I'll rest now." The hoarse voice gradually faded until it disappeared.

Not long after, a tall but somewhat timid man emerged from the shadows of the corner. He was pale and had a thick turban wrapped around his head.

If someone gets close to him, they will probably smell a garlic-like odor emanating from him.

"I need a chance to get those troublesome professors out of the way for a while..."

He muttered something as he walked, his eyes gradually brightening, clearly having come up with a good idea.
