Chapter 170 Handing over Pettigrew

Chapter 170 Handing over Pettigrew

The stars twinkled in the dark night, like knights of the night sky, quietly guarding this silent land. The clock on the tower chimed twelve times.

Afro quietly lifted the quilt and stepped on the floor barefoot. In the darkness, she vaguely saw that the curtains of the other two beds were drawn, but Hermione's bed was empty.

She walked down the spiral staircase and found the top student writing furiously in the corner of the lounge.

"Merlin's red belt, why are you still awake so late?"

Hermione had several tables of books in front of her, and huge notebooks from various courses were placed there in an orderly manner. No matter who disturbed her, she would just shout instead of saying anything.

"Oh, why are you coming down too?" Hermione moved to the side without raising her head, making room for one person.

"I couldn't sleep, so I came out to look for you since you weren't in the dormitory." Afro skillfully made up an excuse. She couldn't say that she wanted to go to Ron's dormitory to steal mice!

Hermione continued to work on her homework, while Afro rested her chin on her hand and stared at the wood burning in the fireplace in boredom.

"Hermione, how many times do you think a person will feel moved?"

The writing quill stopped, and Hermione raised her head sharply, looking at her in surprise.

"Afro, you..."

"I'm just asking casually." She smiled and waved her hand as if she was just asking casually and didn't have any thoughts on it.

"Although I don't know how it feels like to have a heartbeat, I guess the number of heartbeats cannot be calculated with simple numbers."

Hermione stared at her for a few minutes, and only continued to work after making sure that Afro was just asking her casually.

"Can a person be attracted to many people at the same time?"

Hermione, who had just put her mind at ease, was once again piqued by her curiosity.

"That should be fine. What happened to you today? Could it be——"

"No! I just read an article and found it very strange, so I came to discuss it with you!"

A blush appeared on Afro's cheeks, and she stood up in a panic, her sudden movement knocking the parchment on the table apart.

"I, I'm going back first. Go to bed early. Good night."

Hermione looked at Afro's panicked back and fell into deep thought. She felt that Afro must have a little secret, and it was about those boys.

The breeze from running took away the heat from her face. Afro leaned against a wall to calm her heartbeat.

She was a little embarrassed to talk to Hermione about it, it was really crazy.

Afro looked around carefully. At midnight, most of the little wizards were deep in sleep.

She quietly opened Ron's dormitory door and hid inside.

There is one confusing rule at Hogwarts.

If a boy wants to enter the girls' dormitory, the stairs will turn into a slippery slide, but girls can enter the boys' dormitory at will.

However, Afro really wanted to thank the wizard who came up with this rule, which really helped her a lot.

There were five people living in Ron's dormitory. In addition to the well-known Harry and Neville, there were also Dean and Seamus, who rarely interacted with each other.

The snoring sound like a giant beast's roar echoed in the room at midnight. Afro crouched down and slowly walked to Ron's bed, carefully looking for the mouse.

"Ah! There's a spider!"

When Afro heard Ron's shouting, she quickly hid under the bed. After listening for a while, she realized that he was talking in his sleep.

She sighed in her heart and continued to look for her target mouse. As expected, Afro finally found the mouse in Ron's arms.

"Does Ron know that he's hugging a middle-aged man?"

Afro grabbed the mouse's long tail and complained to 23.

23: It’s so frustrating!

"Ah! A spider is crawling on me!" Ron closed his eyes and began to struggle, scratching his body with his hands.

"Tell it to get down quickly."

Afro took this opportunity to pull the mouse out and threw it directly into the system space.

"You're right." Ron replied subconsciously in his sleep, followed by a deafening snoring sound.

Afro: This sleep quality is really good.

Having solved the big problem, Afro did not dare to delay and hurried out of the boys' dormitory. When she passed the lounge, she noticed that Hermione was no longer in the corner.

"Brother, I think I saw a little rabbit at Little Ron's door just now."

Fred and George, who were planning to develop a new product, opened the door and saw a familiar figure disappearing around the corner.

"I really hope I'm wrong."

George raised an eyebrow at Fred, a playful smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and he lowered his head and turned the ring on his finger.

"She has to know that breaking into a boy's room at night is not a ladylike behavior."

Fred and George come to an unspeakable agreement in the moonlight, while Afro has no idea what's in store for her.

She ran to the edge of the castle, close to the forbidden forest, where Sirius was hiding.

The mission stated that she had to hand over Peter Pettigrew anonymously, so Avro approached Sirius's hiding place, twisted the rat's tail in her hand twice, and then threw it out with force.

The sleeping Sirius was hit on the head by a mouse that fell from the sky. He looked carefully and realized that it was the Pettigrew he had been looking for!

Thanks Merlin!

Pettigrew opened his eyes with stars in his eyes and saw the familiar dog face in front of him. He turned over skillfully and ran away quickly.

Afro squatted on a tree branch and saw that Sirius successfully received her gift. She jumped down from the tree, dusted off her hands, and went home happily.

When Harry, who was hiding in the bathroom studying the Marauder's Map, saw Aphrodite's name, he first muttered in confusion.

"Aphrodite?" Harry planned to go back to the room, pick up a coat and go look for the girl.

At this moment, he suddenly discovered that next to Afro's name appeared a person who lived in the mouths of others.

Harry rubbed his eyes in disbelief and ran towards Avro according to the route on the map.

He kept an eye on the map and saw the symbol representing Pettigrew move quickly, and then a person's name appeared.

Sirius!

At this time, Harry no longer cared why the dead Peter Pettigrew appeared in Hogwarts. He was only worried that Avro would meet Sirius and be in danger.

Anxious, Harry quickened his pace, waving his fluorescent wand in the darkness, causing the portraits in the corridor to curse.

Turning the corner, Harry and Afro bumped into each other.

"Harry?"

"Aphrodite, are you hurt?" Harry hugged the girl tightly, his anxious face revealed under the faint fluorescent light.

He forgot the proper etiquette and hurriedly checked Afro. When he saw her thin clothes, Harry put the coat on her.

"Injured? I'm as well as I can be."

Afro held down the flustered Harry and wiped the sweat off his forehead with her sleeve. She didn't know where Harry got the news of her injury.

“I saw on the map…”

A voice with a peculiar ending interrupted Harry's words.

"
